PRETTY PAGES FROM THE PINK REPTILE GALLERY | by KAREN

What a wonderful scrapping month this has been! With a huge DSD coinciding with such a gorgeous BYOC, there has been so many good things to look at and be inspired by! I totally love how everyone has embraced Mirjam and Studio Basic’s Autumn Trails Collab – almost makes me wish we were heading into autumn here again! And I have had to expand my normal three picks to four because I wanted to highlight how two completely different pages can come from one kit, and I also had so much trouble deciding which other ones to pick!
So first up my two exception uses of the Autumnal Trails Kits! Notice how they are poles apart in style but are both so wonderful!

I love the soft feel that @SeattleSherihasBe Wild and Free,  brought out of the kit. The layering behind that stunning photo is just perfect! I love the use of the paint splatter that has a hint of feathery wings to it. The shadowing adds the depth and it is all beautifully framed! Just so eye catching!

Then we have a more robust use of the kit with some of the best clustering I have seen for a while – @Neverland Scraps certainly has a talent for it! I love this page, Outdoors, so much, it has such a realistic feel, and a very sweet photo as well. And I adore the bunting featuring the gorgeous little animals, placed so well here (man, I wish I could cluster this well!)

Next is one that @appellief used for September’s random challenge – 1st Ouch. This appealed to me as we just spent time in the hospital with our teen (luckily a false alarm). We forget the little bumps and bruises that come with life and documenting them is such a good way to make those memories a bit more fun than they were at the time. The use of paints here is done so well, as is the scattering of elements.

Lastly, a more minimalist, personal page with such a lovely message. Yup! By @Roxana has such a clever use of the Masquerade mask, love the strong central line, with the frame and the stitching below the beautiful photo. Dark grey and this lovely deep mustard yellow go so well together. Love it!

Ok, that’s it for October, have a lovely month, and we will be back with more of your lovely creations next month! And don't forget to play along with the challenge, such a fun one for this month!
