SEPTEMBER BLOG CHALLENGE

BY JENN MCCABE

Hi everyone! Welcome to the September Blog Challenge! We have a special surprise for you this month, but before we share the details of our new monthly challenge, let's see who the winner for the August Scatter Matters Challenge is!!! You can take a peek at all the awesome entries here.

And Kate is our winner this month!!!

Congratulations Kate aka silentranks!!! You have a PM on your TLP account.
All other participants also received their 25% discount coupons via their Lilypad gallery accounts. Please make sure you check your messages everyone and if your coupon didn't come through send an e-mail to pinkreptiledesigns at gmail dot com!

Here's Kate's beautiful page:

For this month's challenge, we are super excited to share an idea that has been in the works for awhile: a new series of Template Freebies "Inspired by the Pink Ladies" where we take a page created by one of our talented Pink Ladies and turn it into a freebie template for you! Our first "Inspired by Freebie Template" is this RoCKinG Template by Cynthia aka Mrs. Peel!!!

You MUST use this template for this month's challenge, however, if you also tie in one of the ideas from the latest Three Way | Crazy for Circles post, you will get an extra entry for the $10 coupon (for a total of two entries)! If you do decide to go for the double entry, please let us know in the comments below, along with your link to your page, which of the Three Way | Crazy for Circles ideas you used on your page.

And just so this is totally clear:
1) One entry for using the template
2) Two entries for using the template AND a Three Way | Crazy for Circles idea

I absolutely can not wait to see your pages with this awesome template!

Love how Diane really played up the cirlces here on this template with those fun hand stitched elements from the What I Like About You kit. So perfect! Diane also incorporated more circles in her title with the use of the alpha! Love, LOVE!

by gybogi

Rozsa created this sweet page with gorgeous combinations of patterned paper and colors in her version of the template. Love all the additional little bits of words scattered across the page, helping to tell the story! Awesome!

by justagirl

Emma proves that one can use a template and stay true to one's own style, by creating this gorgeous page. Love how she incorporates the template on the smaller page, within the page, and even has some of it peeking off on the opposite edge. Now that's a rocking use of a template!

by Ellen

This page by Ellen is just adorable and not just because of the precious puppy! Again another amazing page filled with color and expertly combined patterns. Really love the little peek of diagonal striped paper and how she incorporated them into the template! Gorgeous!

by Shivani

This fun and happy page by Shivani showcases her child's artwork brilliantly within the template. I love all the repitition of circles playfully scattered around the page. She also uses #1 (use wire, string or stitches with small round embellishments) from the Three Way | Crazy for Circles blog post which would give her a double entry for the 10 dollar coupon!

A page by me using the template by Cynthia (required for this challenge) and as a bonus I used #2 (ink and splatters to make a circle statement) from the Three Way | Crazy for Circles blog post.

Now let's see your rocking template skills!

Make sure you use at least 75% of Pink Reptile Design products on your page. Once completed, just upload your page to one or all of your galleries and post a link to your layout in the comments section of this post before the next challenge goes live on October 15th. Remember to use the template provided (REQUIRED) and you will get a bonus entry if you also use one of the three ideas found in the the Three Way | Crazy for Circles blog post.

FREEBIES
Off course there's always a little something for free under the FB Free Gift Tab at the  and to be found HERE on the blog. :)

ONE lucky winner will receive a 10 dollar coupon to the PRD store, but really everyone is a winner, as all other participants receive a 25% discount coupon to the Pink Reptile Designs TLP store. So all the more reason to join in on the fun, right?!

Wishing you tons of fun and Happy Scrappin'!
