AUGUST BLOG CHALLENGE

It is August 15th and we are in the thick of Summer. I hope you enjoyed June's template challenge. I was thrilled to see so many beautiful pages come in! The lot of you sure ROCKED this template!
All June pages are right here if you want to have a look. Believe me you do!

I let Mr. Random choose the winner of the Jule challenge and here's who ended up at the top of his list:

Congratulations Judith aka Chigirl !! I have sent you a PM on your TLP account.
All other participants also received their 25% discount coupons via their Lilypad gallery accounts. Please make sure you check your messages everyone!

Here's Judy's beautiful page:

As said it's August 15th and we are in the thick of Summer.  Summer means vacations & holidays, exploring & traveling, BBQs & picnics, swimming & sunning, spending time outside in the garden or chilling with a tall cool drink & a good book!

For this month’s challenge, I want you to make a page with a seasonal detail photo that shows how you celebrate Summer! (If you are in the Southern Hemisphere, please participate by showing how you embrace Winter.)

I want you to really focus on a detail to showcase your current season. Get in close, use a creative angle to shoot your subject, or shoot something unexpected that defines your Summer (or Winter).  If Summer means a visit to the ice cream palor, zoom in on those sticky fingers wrapped around the cone. If you love relaxing with a good book, share a close up of your current summer book, photographed in an interesting way.  If the beach defines summer for you, give us a detail photo of those glistening seashells or your child’s favorite beach tool at the moment.  You get the idea! But be creative and get in close! I can’t wait to see your page and how you define your season in detail!

Here's some sample pages from the Pink Ladies to get the creative juices flowing!

Géraldine celebrates summer paddling in a canoe on the vast waters of the Atlantic Ocean. She must have felt free as a bird!

Natascha focusses on the fact that the weather has been way warmer then usual in the Netherlands. Sun and warm temperatures call for flip flops and Natascha's daughter Sanne loves her red ones.

Health problems are keeping Cynthia in the house this summer. As always she tries to make the best of a bad situation.

Jenn has been growing her own vegetables and aren't they looking just gorgeous! No wonder she is proudly showing and celebrating her crop.

Make sure you use at least 75% of Pink Reptile Design products on your page. Once completed, just upload your page to one or all of your galleries and post a link to your layout in the comments section of this post before September 15.

Off course there's always a little something for free under the Free Gift Tab at the Pink Reptile FB

ONE random winner will receive a 10 dollar coupon to the Pink Reptile store but really everyone is a winner as all other participants receive a 25% discount coupon to my TLP store, so all the more reason to join in on the fun, right?!

Wishing you tons of fun and Happy Scrappin'!
