Hi and welcome to April’s Pretty Pages. Hopefully you had a relaxing Easter and didn’t over indulge in too many eggs (totally guilty of that!).
Again, I have a wealth of pages to chose from, so lucky to be able to view them as a whole but narrowing them down to three is the tricky bit… We had so many wonderful entries for last months challenge and that has well and truly continued with this month’s fabulous challenge from Jenn - if you haven’t seen it yet check it out – one of my favourites so far!
First up, a lovely take by @morgyns for the last challenge – I admit I am a sucker for baby photo’s and the look on this proud big brother’s face says everything! The photo didn’t need much, keeping the colour scheme fairly neutral with just a pop of yellow and a lovely small cluster on a gesso swirl adds the right amount of texture – just wonderful!
The vintage feel of @redplaid3’s page is so perfect! How cool is this photo of her Grandmother? The sepia/wooden elements used along with the black and white – just wow! The arrows, paint and stitches give the page such energy – love it so very much!
Finally another entry for this months challenge - @AnotherAmanda has created a lovely soft page – the arrows and the sweep of leaves are used beautifully to make your eye travel around the page arriving nicely at the tucked away photos – so cute! I love the textured background as well as the balanced use of elements. Gorgeous eye-catching page!
Thanks everyone for all the wonderful pages to admire this month – don’t forget to tag Pink Reptile Designs when you upload your pages so we can see them – have a fun month!
