JANUARY BLOG CHALLENGE

Happy New Year! It's the very first Blog Challenge of the Year! We know many of you are busy busy busy participating in all the fun and hoopla of The Lilypad's annual Month of Challenges so we decided to keep this challenge as simple as possible. But before we get into the details of our newest challenge, let's see who the winner for the December Template/Font Challenge is!!! You can take a peek at all the awesome entries HERE.

And Annemieke as our winner for the month!!!

Congratulations Annemieke aka Miekster!!! You have a message on your TLP account.
All other participants also received their 25% discount coupons via their Lilypad gallery accounts. Please make sure you check your messages everyone and if your coupon didn't come through send an e-mail to pinkreptiledesigns at gmail dot com!

Here's Annemieke's beautiful page:

For this month's challenge, we want to see where you create! Show us a photo of your scrapping space. Do you have a dedicated room just for scrapping and creating, maybe you wander around the house with your laptop, or perhaps you have a little corner of the dining room table that you use to get your scrap on. Whatever it is ... we want to see where you create your pages. You can be in the photo if you want but it is not required. You can also include a picture of your dream scrap space if you'd like. Just make sure we get to see where you actually scrap!

The other requirement is to incorporate one of the design tricks from our latest Three Way | Designing with Overlays. To recap here are the ideas:

1. Block of Color Overlay
2. Gradient Color Overlay
3. Contrast Shape Color Overlay

Please revisit the Three Way | Designing with Overlays post to see the specifics of each overlay idea. It is totally fine to use white as your overlay if you prefer not use an actual color!

I am so looking forward to seeing where you scrap!!!

Check out these gorgeous pages by the Pink Ladies:

by Diane | using the gradient overlay

by Ellen | using the gradient overlay

by Karen | using the gradient overlay and a block of color (in a circle shape) over her image

and Christa spoiled us with a page for all 3 ideas! check these out:

Make sure you use at least 75% of Pink Reptile Design products on your page. Once completed, just upload your page to one or all of your galleries and post a link to your layout in the comments section of this post before the next challenge goes live on Febuary 15th.

FREEBIES
Off course there's always a little something for free under the FB Free Gift Tab at the  and to be found HERE on the blog. :)

ONE lucky winner will receive a 10 dollar coupon to the PRD store, but really everyone is a winner, as all other participants receive a 25% discount coupon to the Pink Reptile Designs TLP store. So all the more reason to join in on the fun, right?!

Wishing you tons of fun and Happy Scrappin'!
