A-MAZE-ING HYBRID BOOKLET

I am always thrilled to see the hybrid projects Géraldine makes with some of my products. This time I really want to share this cute little 'maze-album' she made. It's a folded mini album made of a 12 by 12 inch paper.

I asked Géraldine to tell us a bit about how she made this little gem.

MAZE ALBUM | PETITES TRANCHES DE VIE
by Géraldine

I took a 12x12" white piece of cardstock and I drew 12 similar squares [3x3" each]. I cut the right edge of 3 squares beginning at the top of my paper, then I cut the right edge of the following 3 squares beginning at the bottom of my paper, to finish I cut the right edge of the 3 following squares beginning at the top. I folded each square [dotted lines in the image below].

I made different clusters in 3x3" format on my computer with digital paper and elements, printed them and cut them so I had individual squares that I adhered to my cardstock.

I also printed and cut some flowers and brads to embellish my album.

I decorated my album with flowers, black wire and used 3D foam under some elements [black brad, flower, button] to create depth. I stamped 2 texts in french [with stamps from Kesi'art] and 5 photos. I finished my album by adding washi tape and wood embellishments.

Finally I folded my album and closed it with a piece of cord.
It a small album, perfect to keep it with me in my hand or purse !!

For this album I used the following Pink Reptile products : Lucky In Love | Papers and Elements, Word up!, Lub Dub, Simple Things | Elements, Buttons, Take Note

Have a wonderful day!

  1. This is adorable!! I absolutely love it!! How clever is that design?! Fabulous! I wonder if I could do something similar? I get lost really easily when it comes to folding paper unfortunately, but I'd like to give it a try, if you don't mind. Thanks for sharing!! :D
